Engineering Science Behind Your Everyday Safety:

Evaluating Impact Safety and Anti-Terrorist Applications

with Computer-Aided Engineering

Thousands of people die each year in both automotive crashes and terrorist blasts. Our speaker will discuss Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) methods that are being developed and demonstrated to improve protection for both people and structures. These designs have impacted seat belts, padding, airbags, seats, glazing systems, doors, child seats, helmets and vehicle structures.
