The Technical Job Market in Santa Barbara:
Still and Employee Driven Labor Market

Gary Kravetz will present the latest developments in employment in this area in the last year and predictions for next year. He will explain how the local job market has changed in the past year and how employees and employers can adapt to this candidate-driven market. We will discuss how local companies can find the best employees, and how employees can find the best local jobs.

The high cost of housing and the growing number of technical jobs in Santa Barbara have led to a shortage of employees for local companies. This year's employment talk will include information on how companies can successfully relocate new employees to Santa Barbara and how employees can find a better job. Gary will also talk about the mix of jobs that employers are seeking to fill.

Last year NCC Executive Search, was in contact with the majority of technical companies in the Santa Barbara area, and is aware of their current employment plans. NCC also talks with many local technical employees who are looking for new jobs.
