Solar Electricity Technology in the 21st Century:
Shedding Light on Cost-Effective Energy Solutions

A panel of speakers will discuss the current state of solar electric technology. This timely talk will include information on how solar electricity generation works and where the technology is going in terms of efficiency and cost. Our speakers will describe where solar electricity generation can be used and what financial incentives are available, particularly for commercial installations. They will present case studies of real projects showing the return on investment and environmental benefits.

From the Co-Presidents: This month we wish to express our gratitude to the staff at Santa Barbara Web Hosting for their generous ongoing support in hosting our website. Thank you SBWH!! Also, we are seeking volunteers who can occasionally bring a laptop projector to our luncheon meetings - this would be a great help. Please contact Barbara at the number above if you would like to help out. Please join us in September to learn how solar energy techologies are rapidly scaling up and becoming a very important part of our energy mix.
