Untethered from the Tank:
Technology Gives Freedom to Oxygen

Until recently, oxygen patients have had to choose between bulky stationary concentrators and inefficient and impractical portable devices. By re-examining long-held design constraints, the Santa Barbara startup Inogen has engineered a nine-pound oxygen concentrator that returns independence to the 1.5 million Americans who need oxygen therapy. Their product recently won a "Product of the Year" award for excellence in medical devices from Frost & Sullivan. Come hear about this device described by industry experts as "a technological breakthrough."
