From the President: Over the last decade, electronic Personal Digital Assistants (PDAs) have made great strides towards replacing personal calendars, address books and note pads. Today they have wireless internet access, run PC applications and are being combined with cell phones, digital cameras, and even Global Positioning System (GPS) receivers, turning the PDA into a handheld interface with the modern digital realm. Whether you are new to PDAs or are looking to upgrade to the latest technology, we are sure that you will enjoy and learn from this month's speaker. Also, SEC will host a special meeting on Home Networking and Security, Saturday October 11 9:00-Noon. Members and public welcome, reservations required. Please plan ahead for this special event. More details will be provided soon.
