An Update on the B-2 Stealth Bomber

Mr. Hinds was responsible for planning and implementing laboratory, ground and flight testing of the
B-2 weapon system. He conducted the first flight and envelop expansion flight tests. With Northrop
Grumman Corporation for 14 years, he worked at both the Pico Rivera and Palmdale plants. He will
report on the status and outlook for this exceptional aircraft and weapon system.
A Santa Barbara resident, Mr. Hinds is an aviation consultant and engineering test pilot with over
12,000 flight hours. He has flown over 70 types of aircraft, including FAA certification testing on
the KC-10 and the E-4. He tested the A-37, F-104, F-16, U-2, B-57, B-52, E-4, C-5, YC-14 and YC-15.
He is an Air Force Academy graduate with an MBA from Auburn University.
